Latvia is one of the more affordable ways to get European infrastructure, with fast internet, low everyday costs and a remote-work visa. Almost all of the nomad scene is in Riga, an Art Nouveau capital with the seaside a short train ride away. The season matters more than anything else: winters are long, cold and dark, so May to September is the practical window unless you like snow. English is easy in Riga and much less common beyond it, where you will mostly hear Latvian and Russian.
